In my last couple shooting trips there I have really been conscious of wanting to do New York City... justice.

With classically sculpted guardians protecting many of its landmarks... and visitors of all shapes, sizes, denominations and persuasions alternating watch from on high... the lights continue to shine... and this locale's hustle and bustle continues to beat in time with the tock of ever-present timepieces.

This first post-9/11 Memorial Day weekend pulsed with the intertwining melodies of-- respects being paid, the occasional sense of trademark bravado and irreverence resurfacing, and much gaiety from children on playgrounds citywide.
